Gaxiola's Painting gets my highest recommendation. Dario is an absolute pleasure to work with, is an excellent communicator, prompt, professional, and as he advertises provides an excellent value for the services he and his team provides. My wife and I solicited enough bids to recognize immediately that Dario is who we wanted to work with. We are very detailed, have high expectations and hold those providing services to a high degree of accountability. As a consumer your attention/engagement and communication is always equally as important to achieve positive outcomes. From the very beginning he was one of the most clear, concise, and matter of fact about his process, the standards to which he adheres to, and how he planned on executing on our project. He follows Paint Contractor and Decorators Association (PCDA) standards and cites them regularly. When I had questions, he had answers. His contract was thorough and already included many of the things most customer's would want to see (other bidders lack substantially in what they put in writing). When there were additional concerns or specific inclusions or exclusions I wanted to see in the contract he readily included them (other bidders bowed out of inclusions). Dario stuck exactly to the planned dates and times and was extremely punctual on every day he and his team performed services. There was excellent communication and setting of expectations throughout the project. He and his team worked very carefully around all of the many plants and obstacles in our yard and respected each of the areas where we covered plants with buckets or pots. I might add, we have A LOT of plants making for very tight and challenging quarters for performing work with large ladders. They handled the challenge in stride. As the project progressed, if there were questions, concerns, recommendations, or even simply noteworthy observations about our home, Dario was sure to bring them to our attention. We did opt to have 1 fascia board replaced due to rot, as well as a dozen or more missing cedar siding shingles replaced throughout the project. At the conclusion of the primary phase of work, we proceeded to the walkthrough phase. I let Dario know after completing my walkthrough that his team had performed a job worthy of 9 out of 10 stars. That said, I reviewed my list of touch-ups with Dario which I wanted to be addressed. Despite my pickiness, Dario took it in stride and immediately went to work using tape to flag anything I mentioned as I walked him through the list and immediately had his team working through them. This last big push of work solidified my respect and appreciation for Dario and his team. They easily could have been discouraged, or even have objected on a Sunday afternoon knowing they would need to make one final push through the evening.
